BROCKPORT, N.Y. Dustin Moore, a two-year member of The College at Brockport Cross Country team ran his first track event in the 10th grade, the 400-meter dash in more than 90 seconds. It was a time slow enough that all of his female teammates beat him. Most athletes would be discouraged by a time like this but Moore found motivation and discovered that distance running was his new favorite sport. He went to his coach for advice on how to improve his time to which he gave Moore two words: "Lose weight."
